Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a good understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and strong time management skills are highly desirable. The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our establishment while fostering a positive environment for both guests and colleagues.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
• Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately.
• Ensure all drinks are prepared efficiently and presented attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments securely.
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Engage with guests to enhance their experience and promote special offers or events.
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of food and beverages.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to serve guests courteously and efficiently.
• Good understanding of basic maths for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
• Strong organisational skills to keep the bar area clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
• A personable attitude with excellent communication skills, especially in serving customers.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business schedule. Pay: £12.21-£18.06 per hour
