Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages and lite bites including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth operations
• Assist in food service, including making and serving food at the bar or during banquets and catering events

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, and spirits industry trends
• Proven experience in fine dining establishments or upscale bars with a focus on beverage presentation and customer satisfaction
• Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality
• Excellent customer service skills to create welcoming environments and build repeat patronage
• Experience with beverage recipe development and crafting unique drinks that delight guests
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling practices, and proper sanitation procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
