Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote a safe environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, spirits, wine knowledge, and craft beer trends
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy shifts seamlessly without compromising quality or safety standards
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food safety knowledge
• Experience in food handling, serving, cashiering, or catering is highly desirable to support comprehensive hospitality duties

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
