Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area by adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Develop new cocktail recipes and beverage menus to keep offerings fresh and innovative, incorporating current trends like craft beer and spirits expertise.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste through effective stock rotation.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery in various settings including nightclubs or fine dining environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within the hospitality industry, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine, beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
• Ability to handle cash transactions confidently while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations like retail math or basic math skills.
• Experience with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and food industry standards.
• Previous bar management or leadership experience is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
