Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage recipes, new drink trends, and menu updates to provide expert recommendations.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as skytab; handle cash handling with precision.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked by managing inventory levels efficiently; assist with food service when needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to uphold health regulations; handle food safely during preparation and serving.

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including skytab for efficient order processing.
• Proven cocktail crafting skills with knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development.
• Strong understanding of wine knowledge, spirits, craft beer, brewing processes, and beverage trends.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively nightclub or fine dining setting.
• Ability to manage time effectively in busy environments such as nightclubs, banquet halls, or catering events.
• Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing; experience with cashiering is preferred.
