Bartender

I. Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Bartender to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks while creating a welcoming and efficient bar experience for our guests. An empowering work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality are key to success in this role. This role is also responsible to provide an exceptional guest experience by crafting drinks to order, offering recommendations, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming bar environment.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation and Service

  • Mix and serve classic and signature cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Stay up to date with beverage trends, seasonal cocktails, and new techniques.
  • Educate guests on drink options, including ingredients, taste profiles, and pairings.

• Guest Service and Hospitality

  • Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where all patrons feel comfortable and valued.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in and responding to any additional needs.
  • Handle guest concerns and feedback in a positive, solution-focused manner.

• Cleanliness and Safety

  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the bar area.
  • Clean and restock glassware, tools, garnishes, and prep stations continuously throughout shifts.
  • Ensure safe handling and disposal of broken glass and other hazards.
  • Monitor and regulate alcohol consumption for guest safety and legal compliance.

III. Qualifications

• 1-2 years of bartending experience in a bar, café, or any related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment.
• Certificate in alcohol awareness/responsible service.
• Familiarity with inventory management and restocking procedures.
