Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following standard recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems like POSi touch, Toast, Spot on POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing and sales recording
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and managers for busy nights, and food running.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, including fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
• Strong knowledge SpotOn POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations gracefully
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations and company policies
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing, mixing cocktails, and understanding different drink recipes
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events in fast-paced environments
