Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates based on current trends and guest preferences.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and balance registers at the end of each shift with accuracy.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

Experience

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and spirits.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Experience in food handling, food safety procedures, and beverage recipe development is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous bar management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
