Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and craft beers
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to increase sales and guest satisfaction
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions
• Uphold all food handling and safety regulations while serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with licensing laws

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and brewing processes
• Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality
• Proven sales ability to upsell beverages and enhance guest satisfaction through personalized recommendations
• Prior fine dining or nightclub experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with beverage recipe development and bartending best practices in hospitality settings
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or catering functions
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Experience with bar management tasks such as supervising staff or managing a busy bar environment is a plus

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
