Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining efficient service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders to ensure availability of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management skills in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with food handling, food safety protocols, and beverage recipe development is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
• Previous experience working with beverage industry tools like beer taps or wine service is preferred.
