Porta di Roma, a renowned Italian restaurant in Dallas, TX, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for crafting exquisite cocktails, a keen understanding of various spirits and wines, and a commitment to providing top-notch service that aligns with our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide information about beverages, including wine pairings and specialty cocktails.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked as needed.
• Check customer identification to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
• Process payments accurately, handle cash, and make change as necessary.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
• Create an engaging and friendly atmosphere that enhances the guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience required; certification from a recognized bartending school a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of cocktail preparation, mixing, garnishing, and serving.
• Strong understanding of various types of wine, beer, and spirits.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a personable approach to guest interactions.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Texas.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
