Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and giving change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours or special events like banquets or nightclubs.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or catering environments with strong mixology skills.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality.
• Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and sanitation practices relevant to beverage service.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
