Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments efficiently
• Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with craft beer options to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed while minimizing waste
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or restaurant settings; catering or banquet experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage recipe development
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or TOAST for processing transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, food safety procedures, and retail math calculations
• Food handling certification or knowledge of food safety standards is preferred
• Experience with beverage trends such as craft beers, brewing processes, or cocktail innovation is highly desirable

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
