EXPERIENCED BARTENDER - PORTABELLA RESTAURANT & BAR

Portabella Restaurant & Bar is looking for a highly experienced and confident Bartender to join our team.

We are seeking someone who has strong bar knowledge, excellent customer service skills and can confidently manage a busy restaurant bar while maintaining a high standard of service.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a bartender in a busy restaurant, bar or hospitality venue
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer
• Excellent cocktail-making and presentation skills
• Experience opening, closing and maintaining a bar
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A professional, friendly and positive attitude
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organisation and detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current RSA certificate – essential

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and other beverages to a high standard
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests
• Maintain bar cleanliness, presentation and stock levels
• Assist with ordering, stock control and bar preparation
• Follow responsible service of alcohol requirements
• Support the restaurant team during busy service
