Bartender

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly and enforce legal drinking age regulations.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while balancing registers at shift end.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable, including catering or banquet events.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods seamlessly.
• Uphold all food handling, safety protocols, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred; retail math and food industry experience are advantageous.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Spot On is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
• Previous experience serving alcohol responsibly in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred; nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or as per local legal requirements) with valid certifications where applicable. Pay: From $2.15 per hour
