Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and excellent customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and maintaining a balanced cash register.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations based on preferences.
• Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
• Assist with banquet services or special events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely delivery of drinks and food items.
• Keep track of inventory levels for bar supplies and communicate needs for reordering.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or food service setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and drink preparation calculations.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing inventory effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer support.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
