Bartender

About the role

JUNE EATERY is a neighborhood eatery, bistro and natural wine bar set in the heart of BGC. Cuisine is Western with touches of Nordic, Modern New Zealand, and French-Italian influences. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming and greeting customers warmly upon arrival
• Providing friendly and attentive table service, including taking orders, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables
• Ensuring the dining area is clean, organised and well-stocked at all times
• Responding promptly and courteously to customer requests and feedback
• Assisting with kitchen preparation tasks as needed
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of our menu, specials and dining policies
• Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards
• Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine service, and natural wine characteristics
• Proficiency in using POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management software

About you

• Minimum 2 years of previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused attitude
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
• A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bartending certification or hospitality qualifications preferred
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
