Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Clover POS.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth service throughout each shift
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and guest preferences
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, special events, or banquets while ensuring excellent customer service
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote a safe environment

Skills

• Knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development
• Proven experience in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or catering environments with strong bartending skills
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy periods
• Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and proper alcohol service procedures
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments like restaurants or hospitality venues while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing processes
• Knowledge of beverage trends including brewing processes for craft beers and spirits for cocktail creation or tasting events
• Experience managing bar operations during large events such as banquets or nightlife functions
