Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and enhancing their overall experience.
• Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling and reconciliation.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service periods to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of drinks and food.
• Assist in bar management duties when required, including opening/closing procedures and supervising junior staff or bartenders.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings with strong cocktail-making skills.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming atmospheres and building repeat patronage.
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple orders during busy periods without sacrificing quality.
• Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and proper alcohol service procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices including serving techniques, beverage presentation, and bar management.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments with catering or banquet experience preferred.
• Familiarity with mixology techniques, brewing processes, and developing new beverage recipes is a plus.
