Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency with established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments efficiently
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and communicating needs to management
• Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to enhance the guest experience
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments or nightlife venues such as nightclubs or catering events
• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a lively yet professional atmosphere
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on hospitality industry standards
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service regulations

Pay: From $10.70 per hour
