Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, utilizing your knowledge of mixology and beverage recipes.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Manage bar inventory, including spirits, wine, craft beer, and mixers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and properly rotated.
• Develop new cocktail recipes and beverage offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting for repeat guests.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly while processing payments swiftly during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold all health regulations related to food safety, alcohol service laws, and responsible beverage service practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or similar hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in mixology, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, craft beer experience, and beverage recipe development.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills; familiarity with retail math is advantageous.
• Experience working in food service or restaurant settings with a focus on food safety and food handling procedures.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices including bar management, beverage presentation, and responsible alcohol service.
• Nightclub or banquet experience is preferred; certification in food safety or responsible alcohol service is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
