Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks that enhance their experience
• Maintain the bar cleanliness, organization and stocked in accordance with Lily's principles and food safety standards
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using Toast POS system
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor beverage levels to ensure seamless service
• Uphold responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption levels
• Handle cash handling procedures efficiently while maintaining accuracy in financial transactions
• the ability to build rapport with regulars and welcome tourists with warmth and charm that defines Idyllwild. *Hospitality is HUGE here at Lily's*

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of bartending experience in premium cocktail setting; experience and mixology skills are essential
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktail recipes, spirits, wine and beer. Proper pouring, shaking, stirring, and garnishing techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Food safety certification and adherence to food handling standards required
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and special events
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service practices
