Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash and credit card payments efficiently
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and customer preferences
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages during busy hours
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during events like banquets or nightclub nights while ensuring smooth operations

Experience

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions swiftly and accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse clientele
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining quality service standards
• Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Previous roles involving bar management or hospitality industry experience are highly desirable
