Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing payments with basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, checking IDs to verify legal drinking age and preventing over-service.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow, support food orders, and uphold high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant or food industry environments, especially in bartending or serving roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling, change calculation, and order accuracy.
• Previous experience with food service operations or hospitality environments is highly preferred.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
