Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend beverage options that enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development to introduce new offerings
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to ensure safety
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during events or busy periods

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly while maintaining quality standards
• Exceptional customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest satisfaction
• Experience in fine dining or hospitality industry settings, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety regulations and food handling protocols
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing
