Duties

• Welcome guests warmly and take their drink orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure all drinks are served promptly while maintaining high quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.
• Engage with guests to create a memorable experience, fostering customer loyalty.

Skills

• Experience in hospitality or as a bartender is essential; cocktail/barista training will be provided.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
• Effective time management to ensure prompt service even during peak hours.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
