Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and Toast POS systems will ensure a seamless experience from order to delivery. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales.
• Manage Toast POS system to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; communicate needs for restocking promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service during busy hours, including catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and spirits expertise.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse clientele in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; hospitality industry experience is highly valued.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event shifts such as banquets or catering functions.

Pay: $8.50 per hour
