Bartender

Black Label Tavern is looking for a very strong bartender. The right person must have experience in high volume bar, making high end drinks, and serving bar guest. This person must be able to multi-task and be efficient. Weekends are a must. Open availability preferred.

This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and taking orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
• Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume setting is preferred.
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus.
• Understanding of food safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $5.49 per hour
