Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness according to food safety standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently
• Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep our menu fresh and exciting
• Maintain knowledge of food service protocols and assist with food delivery or catering events when needed
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption for safety

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
• Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends
• Proven ability in food safety practices and maintaining cleanliness standards in a bar or restaurant setting
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a lively environment such as nightclubs or fine dining venues
• Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
• Experience in bar management or supervising staff is a plus but not required
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing
