Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options using established recipes or custom creations.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure an exceptional bar experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Assist in bar tasks such as training new team members

Experience

• Proven experience as a Bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality venues with a focus on craft beer, spirits, wine knowledge, and mixology techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Toast POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail creation, food safety standards, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Previous food service experience with excellent customer service skills in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or catering events.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and cash handling.
• Experience working in hospitality industry settings like banquet halls or retail food industry environments is highly valued.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash processing and retail math understanding for inventory management.
