Bartender

Guesthouse Tavern and Oyster is a casual supper club inspired restaurant looking for a personable bartender to join our team. We are looking for someone who understands that great bartending is about more than making drinks—it’s about creating a memorable experience for every guest.

Our ideal candidate provides warm, attentive service first while maintaining the pace and energy of a busy restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, attentive, and personable service to all guests
• Prepare classic and craft cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
• Interact with guests and create a welcoming, upscale atmosphere
• Work closely with servers, food runners, and the rest of the team to ensure smooth service
• Maintain knowledge of our cocktail, wine, and beverage offerings
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Follow all responsible alcohol service and safety guidelines
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance
• Help create an energetic, hospitality-driven environment
• Ability to multitask and remain composed during very busy service is a must
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Previous bartending experience, and/or basic knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer is ideal
• Reliable, punctual, and professional. Team-oriented attitude. Someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and connecting with guests
