Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash and credit card payments efficiently.
• Develop new beverage recipes and stay current on industry trends to keep our offerings innovative and appealing.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending, including cocktail mixing, mixology, wine knowledge, and spirits expertise.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create an energetic and welcoming environment.
• Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.

Pay: From $16.35 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
