Job Summary
Nora Blú is an upscale Mediterranean restaurant and lounge opening in the heart of Mt. Vernon, Baltimore. Blending coastal elegance, elevated cuisine, craft cocktails, and live entertainment, we are building a team focused on delivering exceptional hospitality and unforgettable guest experiences.

We are currently seeking professional, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartenders to join our opening team.

What We’re Looking For in a Server

• Previous Bartending experience in upscale or high-volume restaurants preferred
• Take and accurately relay customer orders for food and drinks using POS systems such as Toast.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to provide attentive, personalized service without being intrusive
• Knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (Mediterranean cuisine knowledge is a plus)
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a strong work ethic and reliability
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Comfortable working in an environment with live entertainment and nightlife energy
• Orders, requisitions and stocks all liquor, beverage and other bar supplies according to procedures established in the restaurant.
• Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room guests while adhering to all RCSH specifications, recipes and procedures.
• Greets all bar guests immediately, makes beverage suggestions and answers questions regarding food and beverage service.
• Observes bar guests to ensure that guests are satisfied with food, beverages and service; immediately recognizes and responds to any guest’s needs and/or requests.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, back bar, bar work areas, shelving and storage areas up to RCSH standards.
• Adheres to and complies with all state/local liquor laws and RCSH policies regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.

Experience

• Previous Bartending or food service experience is required; fine dining or banquet experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
