Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Assist with cash handling and cashiering duties, ensuring accurate transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and food handling.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Skills

• Strong cash handling experience with attention to detail in cashiering tasks.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Familiarity with food handling standards and regulations.
• Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required.
