NOW HIRING: EXPERIENCED BARTENDER
ZINI Dining & Cocktail Lounge | Downtown Muskegon, MI

ZINI Dining & Cocktail Lounge is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, energetic Bartender to join our team!

ZINI offers a unique dining and cocktail experience inspired by the flavors and cultures of Asia. We’re looking for someone who understands that bartending is more than making drinks—it’s about creating an experience, connecting with guests, and bringing energy to the room.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, spirits, and other beverages consistently according to ZINI recipes and standards
• Provide warm, attentive service and anticipate guest needs
• Manage a full bar while supporting cocktail orders for the dining room
• Learn our ZINI spirits, signature cocktails, food menu, and current promotions
• Make knowledgeable recommendations and confidently engage with guests
• Accurately enter orders, process payments, and reconcile transactions using our POS system
• Stock and maintain liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other bar supplies
• Monitor inventory and help minimize waste and loss
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitized, and presentation-ready bar
• Recognize signs of intoxication and practice responsible alcohol service
• Follow food allergy, health, safety, and restaurant service protocols
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver an exceptional guest experience

What We’re Looking For

• Previous bartending experience or interest in learning
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and proper beverage preparation
• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or cocktail-bar environment
• Ability to multitask while remaining calm, organized, and guest-focused
• Strong communication and hospitality skills
• Dependable, professional, positive, and team-oriented
• Comfortable using POS/payment systems and standard bar equipment
• Available to work evenings, weekends, special events, and holidays as needed
• Able to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must meet all Michigan requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
