El Saguaro is a new full-service sit-down restaurant where Mexican culinary tradition meets authentic Thai cuisine. We're building something bold and exciting — a fusion dining experience unlike anything else in the area. Our bar program reflects that same spirit, featuring handcrafted margaritas, tropical cocktails, and refreshing house drinks that complement our one-of-a-kind menu. We're looking for a bartender who brings energy, skill, and personality to the bar every shift.

The Role
We are hiring a part-time bartender to craft and serve our signature cocktail menu while delivering an exceptional guest experience. You'll be the face of the bar — creating great drinks, building regulars, and setting the tone for a memorable evening.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve cocktails, margaritas, mocktails, and beverages to recipe standards
• Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to every guest
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar at all times
• Accurately take drink orders and process payments
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly and follow all alcohol service laws
• Assist with opening and closing bar duties including inventory and restocking
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for a smooth service experience
• Upsell cocktails and specials in a natural, guest-friendly way

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or bar setting
• Knowledge of classic cocktail techniques, spirits, beer, and wine
• MAST permit required (Washington State alcohol service certification)
• Outgoing, personable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay composed during busy service periods
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A genuine love for hospitality and creating great guest experiences
• Interest in or familiarity with Mexican or Asian cuisine and flavors is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
