Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drink options.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash and credit transactions securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all alcohol service regulations.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to ensure smooth operation during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering, banquet events, or nightclub functions to deliver seamless service experiences.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for accurate order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety at all times.
• Experience with retail math, basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions are necessary for efficient operations.
• Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing coffee or tea is a plus.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail in serving drinks and managing tabs.
