Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and food handling regulations.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and policies.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, while managing inventory levels effectively.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle cash register operations with accuracy using POS systems; perform basic math calculations for transactions.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing attentive service during busy nights at nightclubs or special events like banquets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; retail math skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order entry and cash handling.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in the food industry.
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements and company policies.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles that demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Basic math proficiency for processing payments accurately; experience with cashiering is advantageous.
• Experience with catering or banquet service is preferred but not required; fine dining experience is highly valued.
