Bartender

Job Summary

Butcher & Thief Steakhouse is looking for an experienced and passionate bartender to join our team!

Duties

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beer, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create memorable experiences and promote beverage sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments efficiently using POS systems; balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and managing guest consumption responsibly.

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant environment.
• SNHD food handler's card, Nevada TAM certification, LVMPD non-gaming card.
• Demonstrated expertise in beverage recipe development, mixology, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and craft beer experience.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests energetically while maintaining professionalism.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices is necessary for compliance and guest safety.

Pay: $12.00 per hour
