Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests to recommend drinks and enhance their overall experience through friendly and attentive service
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process cash transactions and tabs efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
• Develop new beverage recipes and craft signature cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery
• Handle cash handling duties accurately while processing payments swiftly during busy hours
• Uphold all food safety protocols related to food handling, beverage preparation, and sanitation practices

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
• Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry
