Bartender

Overview

Join our team at Pascolo as a part-time Bartender. We serve handmade pasta, pizza, and other Italian cuisine. In this role, you will craft cocktails, serve beer and wine, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Bartending experience required. Wine knowledge a plus.

Pay:

This is a tipped position, base rate is $14.50 an hour plus tips.

Total Average Earnings estimated depending on hours & schedule worked.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Utilize Toast POS system
• Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about beverage ingredients, and promote specials or new offerings to enhance sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy while processing payments swiftly during busy hours.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during events ensuring seamless guest experiences.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills by balancing multiple orders while maintaining high-quality service during peak hours.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by monitoring guest consumption and refusing service when necessary.

Experience

• Proven bartending experience in fine dining establishments or upscale hospitality environments.
• Extensive knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Experience in food service or restaurant settings with a focus on beverage service and bar management.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
