Bartender

Job Summary

Oscar’s is a welcoming, upscale lounge where guests come to relax, enjoy premium cigars, sip great drinks and now can enjoy food. With our new food service and recently completed outdoor seating area, we’re continuing to build an experience that goes beyond a typical bar or lounge. We pride ourselves on offering a warm, friendly atmosphere and top-notch customer service. We’re looking for an energetic, personable, and reliable bartender to join our team and help create memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages
• Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Engage with customers, make drink recommendations, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Maintain knowledge of all drink recipes, cigars offered, and lounge events
• Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory as needed
• Work collaboratively with lounge staff to ensure smooth operations
• Comply with all health and safety regulations as well as local laws regarding alcohol service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or lounge environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a busy setting.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and during special events
• A valid bartending RAMP certification or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory.
• Qualifications:
• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
