Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits.
• Manage POS system for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales recording.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service operations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like processing payments and giving change.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and adhering to alcohol service laws.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
• Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments while managing cash handling responsibilities accurately.
• Basic math skills for cash transactions, sales calculations, and inventory management.
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; night club or catering experience is advantageous.
