Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, while providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS platforms.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop new beverage recipes to enhance menu offerings and cater to guest preferences.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods, special events, or banquets.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender with strong knowledge of mixology techniques and cocktail creation.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of beverage ingredients including spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and cocktail recipes.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining quality service standards.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality settings.
• Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.47 - $27.06 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
