Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and handling cash accurately.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service skills.

Skills

• Proficient in bartending techniques with knowledge of various drink recipes.
• Strong food handling skills to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and inventory management.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• A willingness to help others, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
• Minimum 2years of bartending experience in a full-service / fine dining restaurant (required)

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
