Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
• Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner to enhance their overall experience
• Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy hours
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, approachable demeanour with good communication skills
• A valid permit or licence to serve alcohol (if applicable) is advantageous but not mandatory for all locations
