Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment efficiently.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and communicating needs to management.
• Develop innovative beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality industry settings; cocktail experience and mixology skills are essential.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous experience with food service or restaurant operations is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
