Bartender

Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing excellent customer service. The role ensures proper beverage preparation, presentation, inventory handling, and cleanliness of the bar while maintaining compliance with established service and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, alcoholic beverages, coffee-based drinks, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Take and accurately prepare customer beverage orders.
• Recommend beverages and provide knowledgeable assistance to customers when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of the bar area.
• Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools properly.
• Monitor beverage inventory and coordinate replenishment of stocks and supplies.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain consistency in beverage quality, taste, and presentation.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately when assigned.
• Follow sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with bar preparation before service and proper closing procedures after service.
• Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or college level; a college degree is not required.
• Previous experience as a Bartender is preferred, but candidates with relevant bar or beverage-service experience are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with both bartending and barista experience are highly preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktail, mocktail, coffee, and other beverage preparation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with bar tools, equipment, and basic beverage presentation.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Responsible, attentive to detail, and able to maintain professionalism while handling alcoholic beverages.
• Team-oriented and willing to assist with other restaurant operations when needed.
