Bartender

Position: Bartender
Department: Food & Beverage – Bar
Reports To: Bar Manager / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar operations, and providing excellent guest service while ensuring hygiene and safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene, and proper setup.
• Monitor bar stock and assist with inventory control.
• Follow standard recipes and portion control.
• Provide prompt and courteous guest service.
• Handle billing and cash transactions accurately.
• Follow hotel policies, safety, and compliance standards.

Qualification

• Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
• Relevant beverage or bartending certification is an added advantage.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or bar.
• Freshers with relevant training may also be considered.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of beverages and bar operations.
• Good communication and guest-handling skills.
• Basic billing and inventory knowledge.
• Good grooming and hygiene.
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
