Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring each guest receives exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks accordingly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit payments
• Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with ordering as needed
• Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality environments with food service experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development
• Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Previous experience in bar management or hospitality industry roles is advantageous

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
